If you are running on power, or just want to test, this is simple: go to device manager right click the intel VGA and disable it.Reboot and only AFTER logging in connect eGPU if you have one.Device manager -> right click and uninstall the nvidia and intel VGA devices.Download the Display Driver Uninstaller (its free): v18.0.0.1.exe.Change your Graphics drivers in this order:.Nvidia Optimus - You will see this if your machine stats to pause lots, and frame rates dropping.
